Wirral Homeless Angels

Start of a very busy New Year preparing 30 packed lunches and 15 Sausage & lentil casserole meals plus a vegetarian mushroom lentil casserole followed by dessert of fruit filled meringues and brownie cupcakes.  

The meals are prepared daily 30 in total plus 2 vegetarian meals and desserts or Puddings. Every Friday & Saturday 30 packed lunches are prepared. The packed lunches are mostly done by the schools during term time.  There is a Rota of 2 cooks per day, this ensures a variety of meals.  A driver then collects the meals from the home cooks and delivered to the night shelter at the Birkenhead YMCA.

It’s an amazing service carried out by selfless angels. I am privileged to one of the angels supported by my daughter, Maisie.
