Savarin Cake
This week on my Patisserie Course, I made a yessted cake, Savarin. I’ve never made or eaten a Savarin before. My verdict DELICIOUS!
It will be my centrepiece on my Christmas Table.
i learnt how to segment an orange, which is a lot harder to do than say. I made a syrup using fresh orange juice and spices to soak the cake in. Then decorated it with fresh cream and fresh berries as well as mint from my garden.
